Zapier CEO To Speak At BoS Europe
Tell Me More About Wade & Zapier
I'm pretty excited about this one. Wade Foster is the CEO and co-founder of productivity & workflow automation app Zapier. Over a period of 6 years, Wade has led the company from being a small 2-person bedroom startup to a 150-employee fully remote multi-million dollar business having taken only $1 million in seed funding - no small feat.
Wade will be speaking about Building a High-Growth, Profitable Business with a Remote Workforce. He'll be sharing the Zapier approach to growth - not based on the 'one-size-fits-all' Silicon Valley playbook. Given the nature of Zapier's remote workforce and their quick growth, this promises to be a very interesting session indeed.
This is Wade's first ever speaking appearance in Europe, so I'm calling this a BoS exclusive! Click below to find out more about Wade's session at Business of Software Conference Europe this year.

New Videos: Eric Ries & Josh Seiden
Watch Eric's Talk Here
It's probably fair to say that Eric Ries' book 'The Lean Startup' is one of the most referenced business books of the last 10 years. Last year, Eric released a follow up: 'The Startup Way'. The premise of the book is that Lean Startup principles can be applied to help larger, more established companies to innovate and iterate like a startup.
In this talk from our CEO Tales event last November, Eric lays out the foundation of The Startup Way, featuring some funny stories from his time implementing Lean Startup thinking at one of the biggest companies in the world, GE.
Watch The Hangout Replay
We had a fantastic Hangout at the end of last month with 'Sense & Respond' and 'Lean UX' author Josh Seiden. Josh laid out the Sense & Respond framework as discussed in his talk at Business of Software Conference USA last year, and we had a busy Q&A, discussing how to implement S&R in small companies, holding employees accountable, and communicating benefits to external stakeholders. Check out the replay below.
